FAQ: General

Why do I need to create a profile in order to use your travel reservation services?
It is very important for you to create a profile at our site before making any travel arrangements. We need the information stored in your user profile (name, phone number, e-mail address, credit card billing address, etc.) for issuing flight tickets and making hotel and car reservations. We will use this information for delivering tickets and we will be e-mailing information to you concerning your reservations. Having a user profile means there's no need for you to enter details every time you want to make a booking. It also helps us prevent unauthorized cancellation of itineraries.

How do I use your travel reservation system?
Using our system is very easy. Simply select your travel destination, desired dates, and required services and we will display airfares, flight availability, hotel availability, and car rental information based on your request. If you are a first-time user we will require additional information. If you have any problems, our Help pages provide detailed information which should enable you to complete your itinerary.

How can I make changes to my itinerary?
Just send us an e-mail to let us know what changes you want to make (this address). Be sure you include your reservation number and specify exactly what you want changed. One of our agents will deal with your request and get back to you.

What if I have made a reservation and need to cancel it?
You can cancel a reservation you are booking when you reach the Finalize Reservation page. If you click on Cancel we will cancel the segments you have booked so far and your credit card won't be charged. If you click on Finalize Reservation your reservation will be sent to our ticketing center for fulfillment and your credit card will be charged with the cost of the travel services you requested. It will no longer be possible for your reservation to be canceled.

How can I be sure that my itinerary has been confirmed?
Once you have completed your itinerary we will send you a confirmation e-mail which will contain a reservation number (a unique identifier for your flights) and your hotel and rental car confirmation numbers.

I have forgotten my password and cannot login. What shall I do?
Our system allows you to register again. Go to our Customer Service area and follow the Login/Create profile link to create a new profile.

I clicked on the Back button of my browser and received an error message. What was the reason for this?
Click on the Back button only when advised to, otherwise you may find you are unable to complete your reservation, and your credit card might be charged.

Is my credit card number safe if I submit it over the Internet?
Security is one of our major concerns. If you are using a security-enabled browser ( Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.0 or higher, Netscape Navigator 3.0 or higher, Opera 3.60 Browser or higher) , all your personal information is secure. Information you provide is encrypted for confidentiality and security.


FAQ: Flights

Can I cancel an airline reservation?
You can cancel a reservation you are booking when you reach the Finalize Reservation page. If you click on Cancel we will cancel the segments you have booked so far and your credit card won't be charged. If you click on Finalize Reservation your reservation will be sent to our ticketing center for fulfillment and your credit card will be charged with the cost of the travel services you requested. It will no longer be possible for your reservation to be canceled.

How can I change my reservation?
When you click on the Finalize Reservation button, your reservation will be submitted for ticketing and we won't be able to amend it. If you want to change your departure or arrival date or time after your ticket has been issued you should contact the relevant airline directly. There may be a fee.

When will my tickets be issued?
If your airline reservation is confirmed and you have received an itinerary confirmation e-mail , your tickets will be issued within hours. Once we have issued your tickets we will send you an e-mail with the ticket numbers.

How do I know if my tickets are paper or electronic?
We will inform you of your ticket type on the Finalize Reservation page, just below the departure and arrival information. The itinerary confirmation e-mail we send you will also state your ticket type.
Note: We issue e-tickets where possible.

What is an electronic ticket and how do I travel with one?
If your tickets are electronic you won't receive anything in the mail. Electronic tickets eliminate the need to physically produce a ticket at the airport. Your reservation and your ticket are in the airline's computer system. You simply need to know your departure date and time. You can take this information from our confirmation e-mail. You will also need some picture ID to prove you are the person whose name is in the computer reservation system.

How do I know if my reservation has been confirmed?
The status of your booking is displayed on the Finalize Reservation page, just below the departure and arrival details. The confirmation comes from the airline. If your reservation is not confirmed at the time of booking we will continue monitoring it and update you on its status by phone or e-mail.

I received an e-mail saying my reservation has not been submitted for ticketing. What does that mean?
This means the Worldspan connection must have failed just before submitting your reservation for ticketing. This will require manual intervention and may cause a delay in your tickets being issued.

Are there any requirements for selecting departure and return dates?
The departure date should be at least 3 days ahead. Travel reservations can be made up to 11 months ahead.

How should I enter the departure and arrival locations?
Our system accepts both three-letter airport codes and the full name of the city of origin or destination. If there is more than one airport in the specified city or if there are several cities with the same name, you will be able to select the one you want from the list displayed.

What is the "Fares" booking method?
The Fares option provides information on the lowest published and discounted consolidator fares before browsing flights to check availability.

What is the "Flights" booking method?
The Flights option provides information on flight availability first and then displays the fares for flights selected.

What is the "Priced Flights" booking method?
The Priced Flights option displays the cheapest itineraries straight away, sorted in ascending order according to prices based on your preferences.

I saw a very cheap fare but when I selected flights, the price came up much higher.
The cheapest fares are usually the most restricted ones. The flights you selected may not have met all the necessary requirements. Be sure you check the fare rules before booking your flights.

Why did I receive an error message when I tried to book an available flight?
There are many reasons why error messages are received. The two most common ones are that the flight is not available or the reservation system is temporarily down. Try selecting another flight or fare.

Can I book more than one seat in a single reservation?
Yes, you can have up to nine passengers in a single reservation. Be sure to include each person's name and select the correct passenger type for each.

How can I find the lowest air fares?

What can I do if I receive a "Reservation Problem" message?
This indicates that the system has had problems processing your request. Try requesting other flights or fares.


FAQ: Cars

Do I have to provide credit card information to reserve a car?
You need a credit card as a guarantee. In most cases the card will not be charged until you pick up the car. To avoid problems and unnecessary billing, check the rules and restrictions of the rental car company before you make a reservation.

Why are there no offers matching my preferences?
Our system displays only cars that are actually available. You might want to make your request more general by selecting Any/All from the menu.

Why aren't all car rental agencies listed?
The agencies we list are those which participate in the booking system. Only the cars which are actually available are displayed.

What is the difference between a limited and an unlimited free run?
There are no additional charges for the distance you drive in a rental car with unlimited mileage. You pay only the rental rate plus taxes and fees. With limited mileage rates there is a charge per mile/km for going over the mileage outlined in the rental contract.

How can I be sure that my reservation has been confirmed?
Once you have completed the booking we will send you a confirmation e-mail containing your reservation details and a confirmation number supplied by the rental car company.

Is there a penalty for canceling my car reservation?
There may be a cancellation fee, depending on the car company, car type and rate. To avoid problems and unnecessary billing, check the rules and restrictions of the rental car company before you make a reservation.

We suggest you check the rules and restrictions of the hotel before you make the reservation. You can do that by clicking on the Check hotel details! and Check Details! links on the Hotel Availability and Hotel Room Availability pages.

Why are there no hotels listed matching my preferences?
Hotels usually offer a variety of features and amenities but you may have been too specific with your preferences. Be less specific by selecting Any or None from the pull-down lists.

I specified several hotel chains but I can see only a few hotels available. Why can't I get more hotels to come up?
Again, be less specific. It is possible that a particular chain doesn't have many properties in your destination city. Remember that our system shows hotels which are actually available.

I requested a large number of room types to be shown, but I'm only getting a few coming up. Why can't I get more?
The hotels you have chosen may not have rooms to match your preferences. Again, you are seeing only the room types that are actually available for reservations.
